This is the first package to our pen pals this year. As some of us went to the Guide House in Australia last year, we got them some patches with the Australian Guide Promise.

World Thinking Day 2010
Together we can change the world: "together we can end extreme poverty and hunger" is GGS' theme for World Thinking Day 2010. We will also be celebrating 100 years of Girl Guide / Girl Scout Movement. Let us think about the very special bond that exist in all members of WAGGGS in 145 countries around the world on this special day.
The World Thinking Day message by our President, Mrs Joy Balakrishnan (former pupil of SCGS) will be read out on 22 February 2010. All enrolled Brownies are expected to put on the Brownie uniform during school hours on that day.
Thinking Day Pennies will be collected during the next few meetings. Our collection will contribute to the World Thinking Day Fund which will be used by WAGGGS to develop the Movement in places where it does not currently exist.
The World Thinking Day celebration will be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 20 February 2010.
