Gift to Batam Betesda Orphanage

Earlier in the year, we sold handmade cards and malt candy in school during recess to raise funds for Batam Betesda Orphanage. We managed to raise a total of $300 and Mrs Teo has brought the money to the orphanage last month. We hope that our small efforts can make some difference to the lives of the children there.

Poster Competition - 'girls worldwide say no to violence against women'

WAGGGS is a launching partner of the UNIFEM campaign 'say no to violence against women' and has organised a Poster Competition. Please help to raise awareness to end violence against women by spreading the message.

Gizmorati Girl Fun Patches

The Gizmorati Girl Fun Patches are finally here. In order to get these patches, we need to submit a photo or video we have taken or a blog that we have done to GGS. If they are showcased on the GGS website, we will be able to receive the patches. Last September, some of us went to the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden and submited our blogs about the place to the GGS website. One of our blogs even won the 1st prize in the Brownie Revel Competition.
